About the Lvlup editorial desk
Lvlup is a broadcast-grade esports newsroom covering tournament fixtures, team and player dossiers, patch context and post-match film rooms. We are reader-supported, editorially independent, and stamped Tier-A/B/C on every citation.
What the desk is
Lvlup is an editorial project organised around the four regional esports series — APAC Major, EMEA Championship, Americas Open and Global Finals — and around the 15 active game titles we cover. The desk operates three UTC shifts per day and re-verifies every score against the publisher stream overlay and the governing body press wire.
Editorial decisions are made by the editorial board. Where the desk reads a publisher product, the read is stamped Tier C and never published as fact. Where a sponsor, broker or partner sends material, the material is treated as a press release and verified against the desk's three-tier ladder before publication.
What the desk is not
Lvlup is not a publisher of any wagering or fantasy product. We do not publish live odds. We do not publish betting tips. Where readers reach a publisher-controlled path (download, bonus, refer) we frame the mechanics editorially and the publisher is the party responsible for the commercial terms, the age-gating and the KYC controls.
The desk does not accept paid placements inside the editorial coverage. Sponsorship of independent podcast audio or film-room notes is separated editorially and never runs alongside a verified score.

The news homepage is refreshed every six hours with the most recent verified story at the top of the news rail.

How the desk is funded
The desk is reader-supported via the companion app. No betting or fantasy affiliate revenue is mixed into the editorial budget. Where the desk references a publisher-controlled path, that is editorial framing — not a paid placement.
Reader support
The companion app is the desk's primary revenue channel. Subscriptions fund the three-shift operational budget.
Sponsored audio
Podcast and film-room audio can carry a clearly labelled pre-roll or post-roll. The editorial coverage itself is never sponsored.
